In an interview set to air on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Lance Armstrong is poised to admit to doping and steroid use during his career as a professional cyclist and athlete. Is this admission of guilt a way for him to admit doing wrong and accept responsibility for his actions? Or his he doing this for more selfish reasons?
As of right now, there are no answers as to the exact reasoning behind his admissions. There are some who believe he is admitting guilt to hopefully reduce his lifetime ban in the sports world. Whatever his reasoning is, this is probably just the beginning of a larger storm about to hit. Is Lance Armstrong doing this for selfless reasons? What will the fallout be? Stay tuned, it will be an interesting week. I will be back after the interview has aired to give my impressions.
